Back to Yourself

A retreat to reconnect, rest & remember

September 4–9, 2026Lake Atitlán, GuatemalaCasa Awänímä

There are moments in life when we realize we've drifted away from ourselves. Caught up in responsibilities, expectations, and the pace of everyday life, it becomes easy to lose touch with the quiet voice within — the one that knows what we need, what matters, and what feels true.

Back to Yourself is an invitation to pause. To step away from the noise and return to a simpler rhythm.

Nestled on the shores of Lake Atitlán, we will spend a few days immersed in nature, caring for the body, calming the mind, and creating space to listen again. Just as important, there will be plenty of unstructured time to rest, read, swim in the lake, journal, or simply do nothing at all.

This retreat is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you are beneath the noise.

Regular classes

Yoga at Eagle Nest

Eagle Nest is one of the most beloved spaces on the shores of Lake Atitlán — and one of the most beautiful places to practice. If you find yourself near the lake, come move with me.

Regular yoga classes are offered on-site. Reach out to confirm the current schedule and upcoming times.

Women's Circle

A sacred space for women to gather, share, and be witnessed — without masks, without performance, without needing to have it all together. This offering will return. If you feel called to this kind of gathering, add your name below and you'll be the first to know when the circle opens again.

Breathwork Sessions

A weekly space to release, reset, and return to yourself
Every week, we gather in a private home on the shores of Lake Atitlán for an hour of guided breathwork.

No experience is needed. Just a willingness to show up, breathe, and see what wants to move.

Breathwork is one of the most direct tools we have for accessing what lives beneath the surface — releasing stored tension, quieting the mind, and reconnecting with the body. Each session is guided intuitively, meeting whatever is present for the group that day.

The setting is intimate by design. A private house, a small group, a held and safe container.

If you have any health conditions or concerns, please reach out before attending.

  • "I've practiced yoga in many places around the world, but something about her classes at Eagle Nest is different. The combination of the lake, the mountains, and the way she holds the space creates something truly special. I leave every class feeling like I've given myself a real gift."

    Marta F., 38

  • "Her yoga classes are the perfect balance of challenge and ease. She reads the room beautifully, some days we go deeper, other days we slow right down. I always feel met exactly where I am. I've been coming every week for three months and I can't imagine stopping."

    Caroline B., 44

  • "I'm not a 'yoga person' or at least I didn't think I was. Her classes changed that. There's no performance, no pressure to be flexible or look a certain way. Just breath, movement, and a space that feels genuinely safe. I left my first class and immediately signed up for the next."

    Diego R., 35

  • "I came to Guatemala for two weeks and ended up staying longer partly because of these yoga classes. That says everything. The quality of teaching, the setting at Eagle Nest, the community that gathers there, it all feels like something you want to hold onto."

    Anna K., 29

  • "The breathwork sessions are unlike anything I've experienced before. I came in skeptical and left a believer. The private house setting makes it feel like a real container, cozy, safe, intentional. She guides you through the whole process with such calm authority that you can fully let go."

    Renata C., 30

  • "I've been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety this year. These weekly sessions have become my reset. Not just in the moment, the effects stay with me for days. I feel clearer, softer, more myself. I can't recommend them enough to anyone who feels like they're carrying too much."

    Sofía A., 45

  • "What I love most is that every session is different. She doesn't follow a rigid script — she feels into what the group needs and guides from there. Some sessions are deeply emotional, others feel more energizing and expansive. All of them leave me grateful I came."

    Mariana L., 39
